Cowboys QB Dak Prescott will start the 2017 season in Indianapolis, according to a tweet from NFL Training Center director of player personnel Chris Kelsay.
Prescott will also be in Indianapolis for the 2017 training camp, the team announced on Monday.
Prescott had an impressive preseason.
He completed 73.5 percent of his passes and completed 10 of 13 throws for 142 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and he was also a big reason the Cowboys had the best passing offense in the NFL in Week 2 against the Chicago Bears.
Prescott was also named the MVP of the preseason and was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
He finished the preseason as the NFL’s top quarterback.
